If you want to spend a fantastic day listening to great rock music in the company of friends, make sure you come along to the 2010 Phat Phest. This fun event will be taking place at Shady Gators, 132 Sweet William Road, Lake Ozark on Saturday 21st August.
Every year the legendary Mike Phat and the Bartenders bring together a selection of the best local live bands Lake of the Ozarks has to offer. This year the bands include Church Mouse, Blue Collar Kings Band, Lil’John & The Smokers, The Chump Change Band, The Baub Eis Band, 7 Dollar Stereo, Harvey Stone, Riverside, Eternity’s End, Alder Wood, The Rough Ryders, and of course Phat Mike and the Bartenders.

There will be plenty of food and drinks on offer to keep the audience refreshed throughout the day. The doors open at 10am and the music begins at 10.30am. However, the schedule is not cast in stone and there may well be shifts in the timing of bands on stage.
As well as providing a showcase for new talent on the local music scene, the Phat Phest is a valuable fundraising event in aid of the kids at Wonderland Camp. The Wonderland Camp does a wonderful job of providing an educational camp experience for mentally and physically handicapped children. Not only does the Wonderland Camp give the children’s families some much needed respite, it also provides the children with an opportunity to participate in different and fun recreational activities such as swimming, fishing, music, arts and crafts. By attending the Phat Phest, you can help to raise valuable money for this worthy cause.
