Crossover Christian Music Festival
Lake of the Ozarks

The Lake of the Ozarks plays host to two major events related to Christian music. While The Great Lake of the Ozarks Gospel Sing is an event that brings together traditional Christmas music, the Crossover Christian Music Festival brings together some of the most famous artists of contemporary Christian music. The latter is an event of large proportions and in one of the most eagerly awaited events in the field of Christian music.

The first instance of this event can be traced back to 1997 when it was organized in conjunction with traditional music. The Christian volunteers who conducted the event decided to have separate events to celebrate the traditional and contemporary music forms. Thus, from the year 2001, the Gospel Sing and the Crossover festivals are being conducted separately.

The Stoneridge Amphitheater, located in Camdenton, will play host to this two day event which will be witnessed by thousands of people from various part of the country. The Christian Crossover Music Festival will feature performances by, not only some famous professional bands, but also from some new and upcoming bands. This musical event has been of tremendous help to the latter since a large number of bands gained visibility and appreciation post this event.

Last year, over 10,000 people graced this event and this number is set to double this year. One of the main reasons for the tremendous popularity of this event is that the visitors get to meet their favorite musicians in person post the performances. This offers fans an opportunity to interact with their music idols and get autographed goodies from them. You can also purchase various types of autographed merchandise like CDS, T-shirts and other memorabilia.

There are numerous booths setup around the Stoneridge Amphitheater during the course of this event. You can find copies of Bible and a lot of gift items that you can carry back home as souvenirs for your loved ones.

Tickets for the Crossover Christian Music Festival can be purchased at the Amphitheater itself. Tickets for the shows are $25 per adult for the shows during the day and $30 per ticket for shows at night. You can save significantly by opting for a two day pass which costs just $45. War veterans and their families can avail a 50% discount on their tickets. People serving in any segment of the armed forces and their family members can also avail this discount. Children below the age of 5 are admitted free of charge, however, there is a 50% charge for children aged 6 to 11. There are special discounts offered for people who come in groups of 15 or more.

If you want to enjoy a unique blend of food, drinks and music, don’t miss the Crossover Christian Festival on the 11th and 12th June, 2010 at the Lake of the Ozarks.
