Beatlemania Concert 2010 at the Lake of the Ozarks -- Continue
The amazing Beatlemania concert is the world’s number 1 tribute show, which celebrates the Fab Four’s contribution to the world of popular music. The cast recreates the sights and sounds of the Beatles brilliantly and you will soon find yourself immersed in the Swinging Sixties as the songs of your youth come back to life once again.
The show takes in many key parts of the Beatles career, following the boys as both the music and the world changed along with the band. Different costumes and music will take you on an exciting journey through the crazy lives of John, Ringo, Paul, and George. You can listen to iconic tunes such as Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane, and Yellow Submarine, while enjoying the spectacular stage show that surrounds the music.
The original Beatlemania show kicked off way back in 1977 where it premiered at the Winter Garden Theatre on May 31st. It delighted audiences until October 17th, 1979, with a grand total of 1006 performances taking place during that time. After closing on Broadway, the show continued on as the Beatlemania Bus and Truck tour which toured across America until 1983. At its peak, the show was running concurrently all around the world. A lawsuit officially ended the original show, but revival shows still continue to entertain audiences of all ages. In 1983, a tribute song, “With the Beatles” was even created in honor of the success of the musical.
Today, the Beatlemania revival show is a wonderful way to take a step back in time to when the Beatles were at the height of their fame and millions of girls screamed their name every time they set foot in public. Their music still lives on, despite the passing of the years, and even today, a Beatles song still has extraordinary power. The likely lads from Liverpool first made their mark on the world of popular music many decades ago, but they can still entertain you and your family for a night of unforgettable fun.
