AquaPalooza 2010 -- Lake of the Ozarks
Aquapalooza 2010, the biggest family fun boating event on every boater’s calendar, is coming soon to Lake Ozark—and this year it promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
Aquapalooza is the name given to a series of on-water boating celebrations held at more than 100 locations across the world. These giant parties take place during the last two weekends in July. They are open to all boats and non boats and are absolutely free to attend. They are wonderful family events, packed full of live entertainment, games, giveaways, plus a whole lot more.
Since it was first created as a celebration of the boating lifestyle, Aquapalooza has more than tripled in size. Last year, 15,600 boats and 84,000 people took part in the events held at various locations all over the world. This year, the organizers hope to smash all of their previous records and make this event the biggest one yet!
Lake Ozark’s Aquapalooza boating party will be taking place on Saturday 17th July, just west of the Grand Glaize Bridge and in front of the Dog Days Bar & Grill. The party is scheduled to start at approximately midday and will carry on throughout the afternoon, ending at around 5 pm. There will be live music continuing all day.
The music will kick off with America’s number 1 party band, Blue Orleans, playing a selection of zydeco, bourbon street rock & roll, reggae, blues, and Caribbean, which is guaranteed to get the lake rocking. The LoCash Cowboys will then pick up the reins with their unique blend of high energy country music. Finally, to pump up the volume right to max, Otis Day & The Knights will bring the house down with a selection of everyone’s all time favorite dance tunes.
Anyone intending to come along and join in the Aquapalooza fun will need to register for the event.
