Lake Area Taste Challenge 2011
The Lake Area Taste Challenge is a true feast for all the food lovers across the country. The Lake Area Taste Challenge is a relatively new event as compared to most of the festivals and celebrations at the Ozarks. This event started just 2 years ago and every edition of this event has seen a noticeable crowd. The number of people who witnessed this challenge during the 2nd edition in 2010 was double the number of people who were here for the first tasting challenge in 2009. The 3rd Lake Area Taste Challenge is all set to be organized by the Lake Area Chamber on April 17th, 2011.
This is a luncheon event which starts at 11am and ends at 3pm. During these four hours, every person at the venue can get to taste a wide assortment of soups, salads, entrees, main course dishes and sumptuous desserts. Any guest who comes here for the luncheon will receive a form. These forms serve as ballots to vote for the best dishes from each category. At the end of the event, each form is scrutinized and tabulated to award the points and declare the winner.
If you are wondering if you will have to pay an arm and a leg to find a spot at the venue for the luncheon, here is some good news. The entry charge for the event is just $10 per adult. The cost of the ticket for children in the age group of 5 years to 11 years is just $5. Any child below the age of 5 is allowed free of charge.
