Culvers Summer Patio Concerts
On 19th June, 2010 (Lake of the Ozarks)

If you are in Lake of the Ozarks on Saturday 19th June, why not take a walk down to Culvers in Osage Beach, just off Nichols Road. A special FREE summer concert, organized for all Culvers customers, is taking place on the patio (weather permitting). Join the crowds, take a seat, and enjoy the music from Mission 5:16.

While working your way through the extensive menu and sampling some of the delicious dishes on offer at world the famous Culvers, you can chill out while listening to the excellent music of well known local band, Mission 5:16. Their popular brand of Christian rock/pop has certainly got them noticed in recent times and the band has recently been signed up for a record deal with TMG Records.

Mission 5:16 are an energetic young band who is trying to spread the Christian message to people of all ages, through their music. So why not go along to Culvers and check out their music. They will be playing songs from their new album, “Who Is This Man.”

The band is comprised of three young Christian musicians from central Missouri—Kyle on lead guitar/lead vocals, Wade on bass guitar/lead vocals, and Darin on drums. They firmly believe that music has an effect on the hearts of both the young and the old, and they want to share their Christian beliefs with as many people as possible, through their music. The band writes their own songs and music, but they also play other, better known songs, as well. Their concerts are always an uplifting experience for the audience and they have even been known to encourage members of the audience on to the stage to sing!

So do come along as this free concert promises to be a huge treat for music lovers and Christians alike. The band will be playing from 6-9pm and have promised to play a variety of music to suit all tastes.

And while you enjoy the music from Mission 5:16, you can work your way through the Culvers menu. Maybe you have a weakness for a Juicy ButterBurger or a sizzling Philly rib-eye steak served with classy crinkle-cut fries. Sounds delicious, doesn’t it? The desserts are pretty good, too. Culvers fresh frozen custard with gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough all mixed up in one crazy dessert. But if none of that appeals, there is sure to be something else worth tasting on the menu!
