16th Annual 3 Rivers PWC Ride in aid of the Tri County YMCA is taking place on 21st July 2010
Come along to Lake of the Ozarks at 7am on Wednesday July 21st for the 3 Rivers PWC (personal water craft) Ride. This extremely worthy event is being run in aid of the Tri County YMCA for the 16th year in succession and it promises to be a hum dinger of a fun day out.
There will be a kick off charity reception and silent auction on the evening of Tuesday 20th July, This will take place at the Dog Days Bar & Grill Restaurant on Osage Beach and one of the main attractions is the prize draw for a 2010 Polaris Ranger 400 4x4 Utility Vehicle, kindly donated by Seebold Sports.

16th Annual 3 Rivers PWC Ride at Lake of the Ozarks -- Continue
On 21st July the ride will begin on the Osage River, just below Lake of the Ozarks Bagnall Dam. The route continues down the Osage River, before merging into Missouri River outside Jefferson City. Continuing on down the Missouri River, participants will reach the Alton Lock and Dam where they come out on the Mississippi for the last short leg down town to St. Louis waterfront below The Arch.
Fuel and oil is provided for all participants, as well as a slap up lunch during the ride. Participants will also receive a commemorative tee shirt to signify their completion of the 16th Anniversary Event. They also get to enjoy pre and post ride receptions.
In order to participate in this fun event, you will need to make a $750 charitable donation to the Tri-Country YMCA. Your donations will help fund the lake areas only community center dedicated to providing youth and teen programs, childcare, health and fitness classes, summer camps, adult leagues, and activities for older adults.
Raffle tickets for the grand prize of the Polaris Ranger 4x4 Utility vehicle are being sold for $25 per ticket. This powerful and agile sports utility vehicle is definitely worth paying $25 a ticket for. Second prize will be a $500 grocery shopping spree for a lucky winner.
Make a note of this event in your diary because even if you can’t afford the hefty entrance fee, you can still come along the Dog Day Bar & Grill and see the brave participants leave on their mammoth voyage in aid of such a worth charity. And do not forget to buy one of those charity raffle tickets because you got to be in it to win it!
