Lake of the Ozarks Night Clubs
Anyone familiar with this Missouri vacation destination knows that the list of boating, fishing and family activities never seems to end. Filling the daytime hours is never a problem during a trip to this spot. But Lake of the Ozarks night clubs add an extra dimension to the fun in the Missouri hills.
If you’re concerned about what you will do after a day of cruising on the lake, angling for the many species of fish or enjoying the shops and family attractions, never fear! There are plenty of choices for an evening meal, a few drinks with friends or a night of music. Sure, the daytime-activity choices range from “A to Z.” The nightlife options vary from great acoustic music at the pizza restaurant to dancing at an upscale club. In between you will find country-western, blues, rock-and-roll and much more. Check in with the Lake of the Ozarks Blues Society for jam sessions and events.
Some people find the annual Harbor Hop to be a good way to experience the many bars and restaurants on the lakeshore. But this activity winds down early in the evening. So you may want to take a look at the list of various clubs, restaurants and music venues. Do you like to try singing rather than listening to the professionals and semi-professionals? There are several karaoke spots around the lake. If you are a country music fan, you are in luck. Some Lake of the Ozarks night clubs cater to this popular style. Central Missouri is home to some of the best country and bluegrass players around. Of course, Branson has become a hotbed of country/western music in recent years.
For nightlife that isn’t necessarily focused on music, many people choose a “moonlight” cruise on the lake. There are dinner cruises, trips on a paddle-wheeler and other themed cruises to choose from. This can be a wonderful way to see a different “side” of the lake. Maybe it should be considered a “must see” part of the nighttime activities on the lake.
Check out a comedy club for laughter and a few drinks then stroll to another club for the music or to try your hand at singing some karaoke. At certain times of the year the lake is a great place for an outdoor concert too. In the past such “big-name” acts as Charlie Daniels, Styx and Little River Band have pleased fans at lake concerts. Diversity is the key word for visitors to the lake and Lake of the Ozarks night clubs offer diversity galore.
