Located at near the Hillbilly Fairgrounds in Laurie, Missouri, the Westlake Aquatic Center boasts of one the biggest indoor swimming pools around, which is why it is referred to as mini Olympic sized. It features four lap lanes, ranging from 3 ft to 9 ft in depth. The water temperature is maintained between 85 and 87 degrees.
Swimming lessons are classified in different categories such as age, to suit the specific requirement of aspiring swimmers. There are basically two types of lessons; the first one is catered to individuals whereas the other is targeted at groups. Individual-specific lessons are further sub-divided into 'advanced' and 'beginners'.
