Lake of the Ozarks State Park is an underdeveloped cove hidden along the shoreline of Missouri's largest man made lake, Lake of the Ozarks. The State Park is on the Grand Glaize Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks and is the largest state park in Missouri. The parks natural beauty remains untouched, yet visitors are just minutes away from shopping, restaurants and a variety of entertainment options. The park includes 85 miles of shoreline, two swimming beaches, 12 trails, the Ozark Cavern, a boat launch, campsites, cabins, and the Lee C. Fine Memorial Airport.
What to do on the shoreline?
On the shore there are 12 trails that wind through oak-hickory forests and sunny glades that hikers, backpackers, and cyclists can use. You can also take a guided tour of Ozark Caverns, best known for a formation of stalactites and waterfalls known as "Angels' Showers."
What to do on the water?
Water enthusiasts can make use of the park's two swimming beaches or rent a boat at one of the park's marinas. The Lake of the Ozarks State Park has year-around accommodations including more than 230 shaded campsites, ranging from primitive to those with electric hookups. Campground amenities include modern restrooms and laundry facilities. Eight camper cabins offer a rustic lodging experience.
