Lake of the Ozarks Attractions
The Lake of the Ozarks offers a variety of attractions for people both young and old, from different areas of the country. There are a number of activities that can be enjoyed once you check into your hotel.
Spa Shiki
Highlighted by the Today Show at NBC as one of the leading spas offering great value in the United States, Spa Shiki (under the Lodge, in connection with the Four Seasons) is counted as one of the biggest full-service resort spas. Nestled in Lake Ozark, Missouri, Spa Shiki provides a range of wonderful physical treatments to promote well-being and relaxation, including the use of the sauna, the whirlpool, the steam room, and the other facilities. Spa Shiki also has pilates and lifestyle improvement programs to reinforce the spa experience.
Seasons Ridge Golf Course
With an expanse of 6,416 yards and a Par 72, the Four Season’s Ridge Golf Course has been classified as one of the top 10 golf courses in the state. Tee off next to some small and graceful hills.
Ha Ha Tonka State Park
Founded by entrepreneur Robert McClure Snyder, the Ha Ha Tonka State Park is filled with all sorts of attractions like caves, underground streams, sink holes, and natural bridges. It also has one of the largest springs in Missouri. It’s a great place to have a picnic.
Horseback Riding
Riding a horse against the backdrop of lush woodlands and grassy areas is like something straight out of a Jane Austen novel. True equestrians and romantics can go on saddleback through the lush expanse of the state park at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Party Cove
Reputed to be the biggest boat party area in the state, it attracts a number of tourists looking to hang loose and have a good time. Drink your favorite brew on the side of your boat, with your feet dipping into the cool waters of the lake. Pick a good spot to tie your boat and take the beers out of the cooler. Share a drink with friends or meet some new people.
Cave Exploring
Learn more about the world around you through sustainable tourism. Stay overnight in a wooden cabin and have a fine time exploring the bat caves along the Lake of the Ozarks. It's a great option for eco-tourism.
Fishing at the Lake
Rent a pontoon boat and try to hook a wide variety of fishes, from Kentucky bass, to white bass, rock bass, to largemouth bass, to smallmouth bass, to black and white crappies, to bluegills, to mud, blue and channel catfish. Each fisher is permitted to have 33 hooks, which means that he or she can fish with 33 poles of he or she wishes.
