The Osage River Pow Wow is an annual Inter-Tribal event that will be held for the 10th time in June 2010 at Miller County Fairgrounds in Eldon.
Travel a short distance to Eldon, Missouri for the annual Turkey Festival in September. Begin the day with an all-you-can-eat breakfast of pancakes and sausage.

Helicopter rides give visitors a bird's-eye view of this massive lake and its winding shoreline, Prices range from $25 to $30 for a short trip over the lake to $200 and up for long tours and customized trips. If you'd rather see the landscape from ground level, there are a number of great options for horseback riding and guided hikes through the amazing geography around the lake.
Golf is a popular pastime among Lake of the Ozarks activities. The region offers several fine courses that present a challenge to professionals and amateurs alike. Many visitors like to take at least one afternoon for shopping in the lake area.
