Tri-County YMCA Annual Golf Tournament on October 15th – 16th

Golfing enthusiasts should make a date in their diary for the Tri-County YMCA Annual Golf Tournament. This year’s event will be taking place on October 15th – 16th at the Old Kinderhook Golf Course in Camdenton, Lake of the Ozarks.

Starting on the Saturday evening, the Tri-Country YMCA will be holding a Kid’s Silent Auction and pairings party. The event takes place at the Lodge of the Four Seasons at 6pm in preparation for the main charity golf tournament on the Sunday. There are loads of great prizes on offer, including signed sports memorabilia, artwork and jewellery. All proceeds raised will go to the Tri-County YMCA.

On the Sunday, registration and a buffet lunch take place at 10AM at the Old Kinderhook Golf Course, followed by a shotgun start to the tournament at 11.30AM. The event will be in the format of a four person scramble and you can either enter as a player, a player/sponsor, or as a corporate sponsor. Entry fees for the event include food, special gifts, and of course, lots of fun!

The Old Kinderhook Golf Course is one of the most scenic courses in Lake of the Ozarks. It covers more than seven hundred acres of unrivalled terrain and encompasses waterfalls, valleys, hills and plenty of water hazards. The views from the various parts of the course are beautiful and for those who want to bring their family along while they play golf for a worthy cause, there are two on-site restaurants, a swimming pool, day spa and clubhouse to keep the whole family entertained.

The Tri-County YMCA is a very worthy charity and monies raised from the silent auction and golf tournament will help to provide summer camps, childcare facilities, and sports programmes for underprivileged children living in the Lake of the Ozarks local area
