Silver Cup Chef's Challenge at Seven Springs Winery

The Silver Cup Chef’s Challenge is a nearly 3 month long event that takes place various weekends at the Seven Springs Winery to determine the best chef’s in the lake community. The competition starts off with 16 local chefs from fine dining restaurants around the area and by the end of the event one chef is crowned as the undisputed champion of the area. The best part is, you get the opportunity to actually taste and enjoy the various dished being used in the competition because the spectators of the contest are actually the judges too.

The first round of the event is on January 14th and nearly every weekend between then and March will be another round of competition so you’re sure to have at least one opportunity to stop by and taste some delicious food. The event cost varies depending on which round of competition you plan to attend but everyone who attends always has a great time tasting the delicious food made by some of the greatest chefs in the area. Whether you are a food and wine connoisseur or just love tasting fun and delicious foods this event is definitely worth checking out this year; once you stop by for one round you may find yourself coming back over and over just to see who wins the coveted “Best Chef” award.

Eagle Days is all about seeing the eagles in the natural habitat around the lake and learning about the majestic animal so definitely come by and see what all there is to learn.

Not only will you be looking at eagles in the wild, you will also get to see multiple eagles and other predatory birds up close with trained handlers. These birds are all raised and cared for by the local eagle lodge and they’re used all around the area for teaching and educational purposes. This is your chance to see what eagles are all about and finally see some up close and in the wild.
