March in Lake of the Ozarks means that it is time to celebrate another St Patrick’s Day! This year, the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be taking place on March 12th. Come along to the Bagnall Dam Strip for a fun day out filled with masses of St. Patrick’s Day themed entertainment suitable for the whole family. There will be an old fashioned parade with decorated floats, marching bands and plenty of candy sweets and assorted goodies for the children and young at heart. The parade begins at 1pm and is free to all spectators.
A second St. Patrick’s Day Parade will also be taking place in Lake of the Ozarks on March 12th, but this one will be out on the water at Westside/Gravois Mills. This is a great opportunity to decorate your boat with shamrocks and leprechauns in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade on the Water starts at the Ozark Bar-B-Q at 11 am and will run up and down the Gravois Arm.
On March 13th there will be a St. Patrick’s Day Dance at the Camden County Museum, so get your dancing shoes on and come on down to show off your best moves to the beat of the Big Band music.
And for those who prefer to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a few drinks, the Annual St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl will be taking place on 19th March both around the Westside waterfront bars and on the water at various locations.
